An anthem for 4-part SATB using the words from Mass of the World by Pierre Teilhard De Cardin, S.J who lived at the Jesuit college at the top of Hales Place, just a few yards from St Stephen’s Church at the beginning of the twentieth century.
Description
Recevez, Seigneur is being composed for a special service in St Stephen’s Church, Canterbury. It will be first performed on Friday 28th February 2020.
It sets a section of Mass on the World by Pierre Teilhard De Chardin, S.J in its original French for unaccompanied 4-part SATB choir. Pierre Teilhard De Cardin, S.J lived at the Jesuit college at the top of Hales Place, just a few yards from St Stephen’s Church at the beginning of the twentieth century.
